Poem: Don’t Go to Sleep On Bad Terms

Spread the Light

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

In the depths of night, as darkness surrounds,
A lesson in love, in Islam, profound.
When anger ignites and words are unkind,
Pause, my dear brother, with love in your mind.

For in the teachings of our Prophet, so wise,
Lies a gentle reminder, a sacred advice.
Never let the sun set upon your wrath,
Embrace forgiveness on the righteous path.

For the heart that’s burdened with anger’s flame,
Finds solace and peace when love reclaims.
Choose kindness and patience, let mercy prevail,
Rekindle the love, let bitterness derail.

In the warmth of forgiveness, blessings unfold,
Hearts entwined, a bond to behold.
For the strength of a marriage, built on respect,
Lies in the love that we never neglect.

So let not the anger linger and seep,
Embrace forgiveness, let compassion seep.
In the embrace of forgiveness, find solace anew,
For in love and mercy, Allah’s blessings accrue.

For the harmony of hearts, Islam does inspire,
To resolve conflicts and to quench the fire.
In the depths of night, with a gentle plea,
Choose love and forgiveness, and let anger flee.
