In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate
Repentance in Islam is a journey of the heart,
A path to cleanse the soul and make a fresh start,
It’s a recognition of our faults and flaws,
And a resolve to turn towards Allah’s laws.
It’s a humble plea for forgiveness and grace,
A desire to be free from sin’s embrace,
To seek Allah’s mercy and His love,
And to turn to Him with a heart pure as a dove.
Repentance is a door that’s always open wide,
And a chance to leave our past mistakes behind,
It’s a gift from Allah, that we can receive,
And a way to find the peace and solace we believe.
It’s a reminder of our purpose and our goal,
To worship Allah with all our heart and soul,
To live a life that’s pleasing in His sight,
And to do what’s just and fair with all our might.
So let us turn to Allah with sincerity and hope,
And seek His forgiveness with every prayer and scope,
For His mercy is vast and His love is true,
And in repentance, we find a path anew.
May Allah guide us toward the straight path,
And keep us steadfast in His love and from His wrath,
May He grant us the courage to repent and strive,
And in His mercy, may we all truly thrive.
